  13.           Reality Software urges you to register this software
  14. for several reasons.
  15.  
  16.      1. This labor of love took many hours and it is only
  17. honorable to reward the author for his laborious, obsessive and
  18. thoroughly enjoyable work. Without registration, this project
  19. cannot continue. This timeline is unique in its global
  20. perspective and the information is unavailable elsewhere in this
  21. single compact format.

  23.      2. This shareware version of the timeline does not contain a
  24. complete Timeline3 as did that for Timelin2, merely several pages
  25. from the complete chart. Timelin2, which was distributed via the
  26. shareware system in its complete form, was extremely attractive
  27. to many folks judging by the hundreds of downloads. However, only 
  28. handful of people chose to register and therefore I did not feel
  29. justly compensated for the many, many hours of research that went
  30. into the project. You must register to obtain the complete
  31. Timeline3 (54pp in Excel format). It includes several
  32. dozen new data items and an extensive rewrite of about 3/4 of the
  33. material. Timeline3 is a major revision of Timelin2 and
  34. represents a vast expansion of the quantity and quality of
  35. information. The file timln3dc.dos explains how to construct a
  36. single huge chart from the printed sheets. More importantly, it
  37. gives the backround to the design of the timeline, some
  38. interpretative discussion and provides the bibliography
  39. consulted. These references are invaluable if your interest
  40. motivates you to pursue any of this history further.

  43. contains the complete Timeline3. On disc flyers introduce you to
  44. other software from Reality Software that discuss various themes
  45. in the history of religion. You will also be placed on our
  46. permanent mailing list to receive future updates of the timeline
  47. at special reduced rates.
